Transfer App
The Transfer App is a desktop application that's made accessible to VFX Vendors that need to receive delivery packages from VFX Production Teams.
If you've been invited to join a project as a Vendor user, you'll receive an email invitation to create a Transfer App account.
The URL to download the Transfer App will be included in the email invitation. It can also be accessed here: https://portal.artistanywhere.io/download/
We have a Windows, MacOS and Linux version of our desktop application. After downloading the application, click the desktop icon to launch the app.
You will use the email and password created during the sign-up process. If you have forgotten your password, please use the "Forgot password" link and follow the instructions.

When logging into the Transfer App, you will see all "Vendor Buckets" available to you. A Vendor bucket is the S3 cloud repository that has been deployed specifically for your Vendor company. This bucket is deployed in a cloud region nearest your physical location for upload & download performance benefits. If you are working on multiple projects with Artist Anywhere, you will see S3 buckets for each project.
You can toggle between a Delivery View, which shows the packages sent from the Flow PT database, or a traditional File View.
You can also toggle between Assets, showing both the Packages or Files, and Transfers, which shows your downloads and uploads.

Within the application, you can create folders, upload, download, and filter.
Under settings, you can establish your preferences related to upload and download speeds, and toggle between Light & Dark mode. Any changes are saved after quitting the application for the next user session.
